Ongoing care after a Cardio Res-Q assessment is optional. If you want it, there are two monthly parts: the YoungerMeMD Membership at $279 per month and the Cardio Res-Q Specialty Treatment Plan at $125 per month. If you do not want it, you can stop after the assessment and take your results and plan to your own doctor.
The assessment itself is a one-time purchase: $775 for the Comprehensive Assessment or $999 for the Enhanced Assessment. It is complete and stands alone. This article sets out exactly what the two monthly options are listed as including, and what you should ask before enrolling.
Key takeaways
- You are never required to enroll in monthly care after an assessment.
- The membership covers general clinical access and metabolic follow-up, and the Specialty Treatment Plan covers heart-specific management.
- Patients with active risk factors are typically advised to continue, while lower-risk patients may opt for periodic reassessment.
- Contract length, cancellation terms and what the monthly fees leave out are not published, so ask first.
The three pieces and what each costs
| Piece | Price | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Initial assessment | $775 or $999, one time | Your baseline: evaluation, labs, plan, and imaging with the $999 option |
| YoungerMeMD Membership | $279 per month | Ongoing clinical access and metabolic optimization |
| Cardio Res-Q Specialty Treatment Plan | $125 per month | Ongoing cardiovascular management |
The program page lists ongoing prevention as "$279/month + $125/month", which comes to $404 per month if you take both. It does not say whether the Specialty Treatment Plan can be taken without the membership. Ask our team.
What the membership is listed as including
- Unlimited messaging with your medical team
- 3 to 4 metabolic optimization visits per year
- Ongoing evaluation of metabolic and hormonal markers
- Virtual or in-person care
- A 10% supplement discount
- Specialty testing access
- Coordinated referrals and administrative support
The membership is the clinic's general model of care, not a heart-only product. Its purpose, in the clinic's words, is that your prevention plan evolves as your numbers change. Telehealth follow-ups are available to patients in Pennsylvania only, when no CIMT or EndoPAT follow-up testing is recommended. You can read more on the membership page.
What the Specialty Treatment Plan is listed as including
- Advanced imaging monitoring (CIMT or EndoPAT when indicated)
- Vascular aging analysis
- Lipid and ApoB optimization
- Insulin resistance management
- Inflammation protocols
- Blood pressure management
- Lifestyle and fitness optimization
This is the heart-specific layer. It is described as being for patients who want ongoing cardiovascular management.
What to know about the monitoring tests
Two of the tools named in the plan have limits you should understand before paying monthly for monitoring.
CIMT. We use repeat CIMT scans to compare against your baseline. Be aware that the 2013 ACC/AHA risk assessment guideline does not recommend routine CIMT measurement for predicting a first heart event.1
EndoPAT. This test measures how well the lining of your blood vessels works. It does not measure plaque. Its FDA clearance states that it is not intended as a screening test for the general population, and we use it selectively, when indicated. A pooled analysis of studies found that poorer results on this kind of test were associated with more cardiovascular events, but the authors noted it is not yet known whether guiding treatment by these results improves outcomes.2
Lp(a). If your assessment showed a high Lp(a), ongoing care does not lower that number. No specific Lp(a)-lowering therapy is available, and expert consensus recommends early, intensive management of other risk factors instead.3 Lp(a) is measured once as an inherited baseline.
The intervals for repeat testing are covered in how often to repeat heart tests.
Who is usually advised to continue, and your other options
After your results review, the general guidance is:
- Patients with active risk factors are typically advised to enroll in the Specialty Treatment Plan for ongoing monitoring.
- Lower-risk patients may choose periodic reassessment instead.
That is advice, not a condition of the assessment. You decide, and you have other routes:
- Take the plan to your own doctor. Many patients continue with their cardiologist or primary care doctor, and we are happy to share results and work with them. See how results fit with your existing care.
- Come back for periodic reassessment. Ask our team what interval they would suggest for you. No schedule or reassessment price is published.
- Do nothing further. The assessment and the written plan are yours either way.
Questions to ask before you enroll
The program page gives prices and inclusions. It does not give contract terms. Get answers to these in writing:
- Is there a minimum term? How do I cancel or pause?
- Does the Specialty Treatment Plan require the membership?
- Are repeat lab tests included in the monthly fees, or billed separately?
- Is repeat imaging included? What about a repeat calcium scan at the outside imaging center?
- Are medications, supplements or other therapies in my plan extra?
- Can I try an HSA or FSA card for the monthly fees? The clinic cannot confirm these cards will be accepted for any fee.
- How many heart-focused visits should I expect per year?
What ongoing care is not
Monitoring does not treat anything by being done. Its value depends on what changes as a result and on whether you follow the plan. We make no promise about outcomes.
Ongoing care with us is also not emergency care and not a replacement for a cardiologist. If you have chest pain, pressure, shortness of breath or fainting, call 911.
How to start
Ongoing care is arranged with your care team once your assessment results are in, so the first step is the assessment. Go to the Cardio Res-Q program page, select the Comprehensive ($775) or Enhanced ($999) assessment, and pay online. Both are direct-pay and are not billed to insurance. You are welcome to try an HSA or FSA card, but the clinic cannot confirm it will be accepted.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to join the membership to get an assessment?
No. The assessment is complete and stands alone. Ongoing care is optional.
Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
The program page does not say. Ask our team for the term, cancellation and billing details before you enroll.
Do the monthly fees cover repeat labs and scans?
The Specialty Treatment Plan lists advanced imaging monitoring with CIMT or EndoPAT when indicated. Whether repeat blood work and outside calcium scans are included is not itemized, so ask.
Can I join the membership without doing an assessment first?
The program page describes ongoing care as arranged once your assessment results are in. If your situation is different, ask our team.
Can I keep my cardiologist while enrolled?
Yes. Many patients continue to see their cardiologist or primary care doctor, and we are happy to share results and collaborate with them.
