Specialty Testing Guide › TruHealth Micronutrient Testing
At YoungerMeMD in Conshohocken, TruHealth Micronutrient Testing is a $375 add-on. It is not sold on its own: you add it at checkout to an assessment, either the $599 Peptide Assessment or the $724 Hormone Assessment, so the starting cost with the Peptide Assessment is $974.
Interpretation of your results and the plan built from them are included in membership, which is $279 per month. Testing is self-pay through the clinic; ask our team about receipts for your own insurer or HSA.
Key takeaways
- The test itself costs $375 and is always paired with an assessment rather than ordered alone.
- With the $599 assessment, your first outlay is $974 before any membership fees.
- Results review and planning are part of the $279 monthly membership, while test kits are billed on top.
- Plan for this as a self-pay cost rather than something your insurance will handle.
- If you only want one nutrient checked, a standard blood test through your regular doctor is the more direct route.
What you pay, item by item
| Item | Price | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Peptide Assessment | $599 | Full review of symptoms, history and baseline labs |
| Hormone Assessment (alternative) | $724 | Hormones plus a review of systems for peptide recommendations |
| TruHealth Micronutrient Testing | +$375 | The TruDiagnostic test, added at checkout |
| Membership | $279 per month | 3 to 4 in-person or virtual visits a year, support between visits, interpretation and planning |
You pay online on the clinic's payment page, where specialty tests appear as optional add-ons to an assessment. That page notes that most patients start without them, which is a fair reminder that this test is optional.
A simple way to budget: the assessment plus TruHealth comes to $974 up front with the Peptide Assessment, or $1,099 with the Hormone Assessment. Membership then adds $279 for each month you remain a member, and that is where the results review and your plan sit. If you already have an assessment or membership, ask our team how adding the test works for you.
What the $375 buys
TruHealth is made by TruDiagnostic. The clinic describes it as an at-home epigenetic test that analyzes over 105 biomarkers across nutritional, biological and metabolic systems. It is important to be clear about what that means: the results are estimates made from DNA methylation, not measured vitamin or mineral levels in your blood.1
TruDiagnostic itself describes TruHealth as not a diagnostic test and recommends it as an adjunct to standard workup.2 In practice you are paying for a broad pattern-level overview, plus a clinician's help reading it alongside your regular labs. See what TruHealth measures for the full picture.
What is not known or not included
- Turnaround time: ask our team.
- Retest pricing: ask our team.
- Follow-up blood tests: if a TruHealth estimate needs confirming with a standard blood test, that is a separate test. Ask our team how it is ordered and billed.
- Supplements: anything your plan recommends is a separate cost.
Insurance and HSA
You pay the clinic directly at checkout. Whether your own insurer or HSA will reimburse any of it depends on your plan, and we cannot promise that it will. If you want to try, ask our team about receipts you can submit.
Is it worth the money for you?
It may be worth it if you want a broad baseline across nutrition, metabolism and inflammation, you are working on long-term habits, and you value a clinician helping you sort useful signals from noise.
It is probably not the best spend if:
- Your question is about one nutrient, such as iron, B12 or vitamin D. A standard blood test answers that more directly, and TruHealth does not estimate iron or B12 at all.
- You hope the result will prove a diagnosis. It cannot.
- You are hoping a supplement plan will prevent heart disease or cancer. The US Preventive Services Task Force found insufficient evidence that multivitamins do that.3
- Your basics, such as blood pressure, blood sugar, sleep and smoking, are not yet addressed. Those are the foundations a clinician will usually address first.
Next step: book or ask a question
If you live in Montgomery County, the Main Line or elsewhere in Pennsylvania and want to go ahead, choose an assessment and add TruHealth at checkout on the payment page. Telehealth visits are available only to patients located in Pennsylvania. If you are unsure whether it fits, contact our team or call (215) 892-1230 before you book. Membership details are on the membership page, and the TruHealth hub has the rest of this series.
Frequently asked questions
Can I order TruHealth without the assessment?
No. Specialty tests at YoungerMeMD are add-ons to an assessment, so the clinician understands your history and goals before ordering and interpreting the test.
Is the test included in membership?
No. Membership includes interpretation and planning, but test kits are billed separately.
Who explains my results?
A YoungerMeMD clinician reviews your results with you at a visit, in person in Conshohocken or by Pennsylvania telehealth, and turns them into a medical, nutritional and lifestyle plan. That interpretation is part of membership.
Does TruAge cost the same?
The clinic offers TruAge too, but it does not publish a TruAge price. Ask our team for current pricing, and see our guide on choosing between TruAge and TruHealth.
