What the program includes
CIMT ultrasound, in our office
A painless carotid artery ultrasound that measures artery wall thickness and looks for plaque. Jessica Brown performs it in our Conshohocken office. It is part of the $999 Enhanced Assessment.
EndoPAT, as an add-on
An in-office test of how well the lining of your blood vessels relaxes (endothelial function). It does not show plaque. EndoPAT is a $250 add-on to either assessment: arrive fully fasted, with no caffeine.
Read with your bloodwork
Results are interpreted alongside inflammatory, metabolic and lipid markers, because arterial change is downstream of those systems.
Part of Cardio Res-Q
CIMT comes with the $999 Enhanced Assessment, which also includes a coronary calcium score ordered at an outside imaging center. Both assessments include the full lab panel and a one-hour consult with Dr. Varano.

Cardio Res-Q Assessment — $775 or $999
Labs drawn about a week ahead, then a one-hour consult with Dr. Varano: advanced labs and the Quest cardiac panel ($775), or the Enhanced Assessment adding CIMT ultrasound and a coronary calcium score ($999).

Cardiovascular Testing in Conshohocken & Greater Philadelphia
CIMT and EndoPAT are performed in person at our Conshohocken clinic, in Montgomery County just outside Philadelphia. Patients come from Philadelphia, the Main Line and Montgomery, Delaware, Chester and Bucks counties. Bloodwork is drawn locally and visits are available in person or by telehealth across Pennsylvania.
