Estrogen Blocker for Men
Some men have a testosterone problem. Others have a conversion problem — testosterone is being made and then turned into estrogen before it can do its job.
Who this is for
Body fat contains an enzyme called aromatase, which converts testosterone into estrogen. The more adipose tissue there is, the more conversion happens — which is why some men present with low testosterone and high estrogen symptoms at the same time.
Estrogen is not the enemy in men — it has a job, and suppressing it too far causes its own problems. This is a balance question, which is why it is decided from a full panel rather than from symptoms alone.
What the program includes
Estrogen measured, not assumed
Estradiol read alongside total and free testosterone, so conversion is a number rather than an inference from how you feel.
The driver addressed first
Because adipose tissue is where much of the conversion happens, body composition and metabolic health are part of the plan rather than a separate conversation.
Managed as part of your hormone protocol
Estrogen management is handled inside your wider testosterone plan, not bolted on to it.
Ongoing oversight
Levels are re-checked as the protocol runs, and the approach is revised as your numbers and body composition change.
How this program runs
Foundational Assessment — $599
A full biological picture before anything is prescribed: symptoms, history, goals and comprehensive bloodwork, reviewed by Dr. Varano.
Membership — $279 / month
Ongoing clinical oversight, direct clinician messaging between visits, and protocol adjustments based on how you actually respond.
Your protocol
Built to your labs and your goals, then re-checked and adjusted as your numbers move. Nothing here is a fixed script.
Current program pricing is listed on the specialty treatment plans page.
What we track
Testosterone and estradiol are followed together, alongside body composition. Watching only one of the two is how men end up feeling worse on a rising testosterone level.

This page covers how estrogen is handled within a men's hormone protocol. For the wider picture — how testosterone declines, how weight and hormones drive each other, and what optimization involves — start with these.
Have the conversion measured, not guessed at
Every plan starts with the Foundational Assessment and a conversation about what you are actually trying to change.
